SUNDAY CLASSICS: WILL SMITH--SUMMERTIME.

Hey Guys! Such a beautiful day in the neighborhood. This weekend it reached the 80s in NYC. Yeahhhh. Since summer is right around the corner, we are time traveling to 1991 with DJ Jazzy Jeff & Will Smith aka The Fresh Prince --Summertime. Man, I can't wait 'til the bbqs/cookouts; block parties; six flags etc. So, enjoy guys.

HOT 97' 2009 SUMMER JAM LINE-UP!

NYC, Jersey & Connecticut. The whole 'effin Tri-State. It's that time of the year w/ 2009's Hot 97 Summer Jam. Angie Martinez announced the line-up this afternoon.

&& more surprises coming soon. Tracy Morgan is set to host. It will be held on Sunday, June 7th at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Tickets went on sale today. They range from $40 to $165. Sadly, this will be the final concert at Giants Stadium to the stadium being demolished. I wanna go but at the same time ...this year line-up sounds ehh! C'mon Pleasure P? They should have him at the Pre-Show. Well, once I hear the additional artists in up-coming weeks ..maybe I'll have a change in mind.

THE REAL WORLD BROOKLYN ...UGH.

Now that The Real World Brooklyn has ended ...what a fu*king disappointment. I was rooting for this cast, as far as fights, sex, & to show life in brooklyn & what it represent. I didn't see none of that. This season was such a bore. The cast barely had arguments, no sex at all, they always showed them in manhattan instead of brooklyn. I wish the cast was switch, the hollywood cast should've been in bk, & the bk cast in hollywood. Well, hopefully next season will be better.

CLUBBING.... ONCE AGAIN.

Another weekend has past. Me & the girls were pretty bored, so we decided to hit up a club. They dragged me to Colors Lounge in Soho, NYC.



At first, when I heard the name "Colors" & the location of the party, I was like hell noooo. For those who doesn't live in NYC, Soho or the village is a popular shopping district in NYC but also the area is full of gays & lesbians. I'm not judgemental to gays and/or lesbians. I love them. They one of the most realist people you know but I just wouldn't be caught dead at one's party. Just my opinion. Anyway, its was your typical average lounge. It was caribbean night. It was cool. Took a couple of flicks, got my drink & my 2-step ...and my kufi :)



The music was cool til' they o'dee on the calypso. 3am came and I was out. I think I'm gonna take a little break from clubbing. It's gotten pretty whack. I just wanted to share that with you guys.

SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER.

Well.... after deciding to take a little break from clubbing, little ol' me decided it was time to make my return ...well sort of. I was so itching to go back to the club scene after 3 months.





My good friend, Desiree threw a little bash for her 24th b-day at Fashion 40 lounge in NYC. Me & my bud, Amelia arrived at 1:05am after driving in circles lookin' for a parking space on 40th & 8th ave. Finding parking ...in the city, you're considered lucky ...sort of. $20 Admission. The club was pretty pack for a saturday night. Made my way upstairs to the VIP section. Found Des & her peoples. Snap photos, danced a little without alcohol. One of the 1st.

2:40am. started to yawn, party was gettin more & more dry. Decided to bounce. Made my way to my car, everyone on the block got a ticket ...including ME! Damn, NYPD. Heading towards the FDR Drive ...proceeded on the Brooklyn Bridge ...got on the BQE toward LIE495...and zoom home on 82mph home. Moral of my story ..never drive in the city or you'll end up with a ticket... sort of :)
